下面我們就來分析一下，clutter與jumble到底有什麼區別。
clutter與jumble都可以表示「使……混亂」，但兩者的內涵有很大區別。
（1）clutter的含義是「使…亂七八糟，把…弄得很亂」，強調「很多沒有用或不想用的東西堆滿而導致很亂」
His desk is cluttered up with books and papers.
他桌上堆滿了書和報紙。
Our house is so cluttered；because my husband refuses to get rid of anything that he thinks could be of any possible use.
我們的房子非常雜亂，因為我丈夫不把他認為可能有用的東西丟掉。

2）jumble僅僅表示「雜亂無章」，常與介詞up連用
His thoughts were all jumbled up.
他的思緒亂透了。
The orchestra was not on beat and everything sounded jumbled up.
管弦樂隊的演奏不合節拍，聽起來一切都是亂糟糟的。
The details of the accident were all jumbled together in his mind.
